London + Latreel's Special Day
From the moment I met London & Latreel, I knew their wedding was going to be something truly magical. Set at the gorgeous Refinery in Jeffersonville Indiana, their day was filled with love, laughter, and so many heartfelt moments that I couldn't wait to share with you guys.
Their day was perfectly planned down to the last moment, and they managed to get through the whole day with little to no stress. They were just focused on sharing the day with one another. Here is a little peek into their day!
Pre Ceremony
The atmosphere was super chill as everyone got ready. They were grooving to music, cracking jokes, laughing, and cherishing every moment. London’s dress was absolutely stunning! The lace details and subtle sparkle were to die for!
Latreel added his own unique touch to his wedding attire. He rocked an incredible white suit that I absolutely adored.
There were so many hilarious and unexpected moments during their preparations, but the best one for me was when London had to do a quick mini workout just before she walked down the aisle. Who wouldn’t want their arms to look fabulous on their wedding day?
First Look and Private Vows
I’m a big fan of first looks and private vows. I think they’re one of the most magical moments of a wedding day.
The Refinery had the perfect spot for a first look and private vows. It was a big, open area that looked out over the reception hall. There were also beautiful wood details, like the railings and ceiling. And the windows let in the most dreamy lighting.
London & Latreel’s first look and private vows were so special. The energy in the room was so genuine and authentic. There were tears, a few giggles, and some shocked faces when they saw each other. And there was so much love. You could really feel the love radiating through the room. I hope everyone gets to experience a love like this.
Ceremony + Reception
The ceremony was absolutely breathtaking! From the moment the doors opened, London stood tall, ready to walk down the aisle as the chorus of “At Last” filled the air. Everyone gasped in awe at how stunning she looked. The unity ceremony they chose was handwashing, symbolizing a clean and fresh start to their married life.
Not to mention, they picked someone incredibly close to both of them to officiate their wedding! He gave a heartfelt speech that touched everyone in the room.
After the ceremony, London and Latreel took a moment to step away from the crowd and savor the joy of tying the knot.
Next, we headed to take bridal portraits, family photos, and bridal party images. They were all absolutely stunning!
The reception was a blast! The music was pumping, and everyone was dancing the night away. At one point, a guest threw about two hundred fake $100 bills into the air, which made for some incredible photos.
I think almost everyone in the guest list was on the dance floor at some point. It was so much fun! It made me not want to leave!
Besides the dancing, the reception started with the newlyweds entering the reception hall, and everyone cheered for them as loud as they could. Following that, they had their first dance to “Die with a smile” by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars. Let me tell you, they looked absolutely incredible!
One of my favorite moments of the reception was when we played a fun game. I like to do this with my couples at the reception. Here’s how it works: Ask the DJ to play a song of your choice, while that song is playing, every guest has to run up and snap a picture with the newlyweds. This can be individuals, groups, couples, or even come up multiple times! The only two rules are, the bride and groom stay where they are, and you come to them. And you have to have that picture snapped by the end of the song! Easy as pie and so much fun!
This allowed for all of the guests to take pictures with the newlyweds without constantly pulling them away during their reception.
The BEST part of the reception, was the couple sneaking away. Allowing for London to have an outfit change. This was insanely intimate, it allowed them time to breath and soak in the fact that they just got married!
Latreel even helped her get dressed, which made some great photo ops.
Wow, what a day! It was absolutely breathtaking, and I feel so honored to have been a part of their special day.
You know, my job is like being the luckiest person in the world. I get to witness these incredible love stories and meet such amazing people along the way. It’s truly a blessing.
